Sitting 'Round.

So, I'm not a sitter anymore, not if I can help it anyways. However, there are still a number of lessons I learned about sitting while I was trying to make it to the end of my previous "life."
First lessons about sitting. Don't. There's a reason you only really hear about runners, they tend to last a hell of a lot longer. Staying in one place, while it doesn't make you more vulnerable to it, it makes you a lot more vulnerable to its hunters. Not only that, but stationary people tend to form connections with the people around them. You do not want this. At all. As in, try to not make friends with invisibles. They are safe. Being your friend puts them in danger. DON'T MAKE FRIENDS WITH THOSE NOT INVOLVED!
That was the second tip. DON'T TELL OTHERS! Distract them. If you feel alright about fucking up the lives of other people, well then get the hell off this sight, and go make friends with it.
Third tip, and this isn't one I can really follow. Try to find a runner (or sitter) near you. You want as many already visible allies as you can get.
Fourth tip. Live. Don't get to the point where you don't give a damn whether it gets you or not. You want friends, and you want to do things other than just running and hiding. Mind you, be careful when you do things, but at least try to do them. Watch TV, or a movie, or start target shooting, read a book. Whatever it is, do it. Don't break.
This last one goes to everyone, runners, sitters, it doesn't matter. Read up on others that are still alive, and those that have come and gone. We all want to find some way to end this, to destroy it, or to escape its game permanently. Conduct your own tests. Mind you, make sure you won't die while doing them, but do them. Once my ankle is better, I'll be testing the symbol.

  1. Be careful with that symbol. My source for why I've avoided using it--http://thelondonlibrarian.blogspot.com/2011/04/zeke.html

Look to the last 2 or 3 paragraphs. (PS, I had to log in for this, so make it count.)
